ABSOLUTELY. nice pic Old City Bimmer!

Update on my car - no mtech1 for the Vintage in 2 weeks :-( should be done later this summer though. Parts are looking great, but still a large amount of tedious, detailed front spoiler work to do on the slots. Body shop had zero interest in doing it, and I really trust those guys and don't want any issues. So I brought the part back and will 3d print a sanding tool to clean up the notches

-- rear spoiler painted panel is waiting for the front and rears to be done to paint everything at once.

All the parts were stripped to bare material - no previous paint left on anything. Here's what the front piece looks like right now. It's the furthest from ready.

A particularly difficult area to repair. was worse not grinding out the paint layers from the channels, but the Dremel bit unfortunately dug into the sides too.

No real ground lost though - we'd still be in the same situation trying to prep the channels with the paint layers still in place. A 3d printed tool seems to be the only practical way to get this repaired.

Nice job on the fog light hole cutout

And all the mounting points except one they missed have been repaired

They tried to preserve the part number area

I have a M60 with a five speed. I really enjoy the power and definitely on the top of the list -the sound. When driving around I get thumbs-up from all type of car guys. Subaru, Honda, Chevy and of course BMW.
It's probably the best complement to receive.

Very nice. I just took my car for another drive yesterday and that M62 is fantastic. As soon as I get my house projects done, it's off to the e30.

This is probably the best photo I have taken so far -were you can see the new smoke lights. I need to seal the fog lights and put them on.

I will hopefully pick today a euro 320i vert. If I'm able to get the title -I will convert it to Mtec1

**Never mind. I went to see the car today and it was pure trash. Not even worth saving

Thanks.....I live in the city so I'm keeping the neighborhood pets out.
It's a temporary solution until I get a permanent fence built.

Sprayed. 9+ hours of sanding and refinishing for 6 pieces of aluminum trim and 3 pieces of rubber trim (remaining pieces were new OEM parts). In the end what worked for me on the aluminum pieces was 320 grit to bare metal, 2 light coats of SEM trim black, wet sand 1000 grit, 2 more coats and the spot wet sanding and paint where needed. The rubber trim took a lot of sanding with 3 grades of paper to get an acceptable surface finish
