Low speed. Not enough to set off his airbag.
I'll throw up pics of our car tonight. Didn't have the foresight to snap one of the Expedition though. We got away with suprisingly little damage. Cracked tail light, dent in the trunk lid, and scratched up bumper cover. Expedition's from bumper was mangled, brackets holding it were trashed, front grill cracked, and possibly some radiator damage (didn't see any leaking though).

Yeah thats weird, I remember reading an article about SUVs and why they fall apart in accidents. Brant said his brother was rear ended (in his accord) by a jeep. Made a very small nick on the hondas bumpers. Whole front end of the jeep smashed apart and ended up totaling the car...Rollin' with a Geistkuchen

crumple zones baby the front is designed to crumple under impact to absorb energy , the back not so much. i think if you crashed a honda head on youd f**k it up pretty bad, i know when i tried to rally my civic an i hit a tree with my front in a slide it totaled the car no problem ;)
stupid honda civic auto matic i hated that car anyway
