holy crap....ive sent one...but...what the hell makes it so heavy? the gears? the case itself?

the one I weighed is off a junkyard car, is presumably full of fluid, the case is one giant hunk of steel, and between the gears, input, and output -- its pretty dense. The real bitch was carrying it from the far corner of the yard up front. My buddy and I put it on a rear carpet, and carried it together, but its an ackward weight like a tv, and a pain in the ass. Next one I bring a pickup and wheel barrow.

they are about 80lbs with fluid. Drain the fluid and save some money.
