A little help in the Brighton/Howell Michigan area?

I've been talking to a gentleman about an 88 325is for sale in Howell,Mi and wondering if someone on the board would be so kind to check it out for me? My father-in-law, who lives in Brighton, saw the car but didn't drive it and is not as familiar with these cars. I'm in Portland, Or so a little hesitant as I haven't seen or driven it myself. I just want a third party to verify its condition and drivability.

What Portland? There are several.

If you are n Oregon, why would you want to buy a rusty Michigan car unless it's almost free?

The cars not rusty and it happens to be close to my in-laws. Other cars I've seen in pdx were asking too much or needed more work than this. But that's why Id like to get someone's eyes on it that knows the cars to see if it's worth it.

I'm still keeping my eyes peeled to local cars though....
