    econo hauler

i gotta pull my cars around and i dont care to spend so much money on that whole bit, so here is my project. the need: tow a light car ~2-2.5k lb car and tow vehicle isnt the most powerful (minivan).

    object: Anderson 14x6 single axle(3,500lb).
problem: railing too high and ramp too weak.
simple mods complete a dedicated e30 hauler.

but first, i need to finish the tail-gate ramps and i dont have my car with me. i need the wheel base, center and/or inner, by early morning to have this thing ready to go tomorrow. can someone please help me out?

On mine, it is 47.5" approx from inside tire to inside tire I am running 15mm spacers on 40et rims with 7.5 " 215s.
And 99" approx. from cap to center cap.
      Yours truly,

i dont think the minivan will have enough ass weight to keep this thing stable if it desides to wander IMHO

so anyway, a car trailer doesnt get much cheaper or lighter than this.

                  before

this is the 12 ft as mine is 14.

anyway, in stock form, it might carry a car, but i wouldnt trust it for long.
taking a close look at the design, the area around the axle isnt too strong so we did a little work and beefed it up, yet still kept the lightweight factor.

fenders are quickly removable. they arent in the pics because they were getting coats of paint.
and as you can see, i hacked up the ramp and made individual ramps being longer and stronger.
