    Opinion wanted: E30 price check

    Heres the low down:

    1989 Alpine White 325i
2 door, 5 speed, 153k miles, perfect condition tan vinyl interior, fantastic paint, excellent trim pieces, brand new exhaust system (catlytic converter, mid pipe, muffler), new tires, no visible rust, no cracked lenses headlights or taillights, all trim pieces in tact, and no cracks in the glass (windshield, etc)

only problem is the door locks dont quite work.

What can I expect for pay for something like this?

        Upwards around 5k.

KBB.com is garbage. Many of the used car values on the site do not reflect collectability or the sheer amount of shit cars out there that drive the nice examples' prices up.

Think what you want but in reality you cant touch a clean one with 100k+ for that.

Its been beat to death but ill say it again, KBB doesnt work on our cars.

kbb is fucking money though to talk down people who dont know anything about em. I scored an ix for cheap that way. Id pay 3500 for that car as its only an i. 4 grand if it really is in mint shape. I paid 4200 for my mint, 76k 318is that needed brakes.
