Am told it was from a M20b25. Anyone have any thoughts to confirm this?

Looks like a m10 pan that someone quickly tacked a hartge logo to.Comment

Gonna say it's no m20 pan. Never seen a stamped one for that engine. I am leaning towards Brandon's opinion that it's an early(as in 70's) pan someone did a shitty job welding a tag to. Seems like a weird place for a logo.
It does look 6 cylinder though.sigpic

In my Hartge catalogs does not show any Hartge m20 oil pan. I don't see any special oil baffle. The Hartge tag looks like it came off Hartge headers. Hartge used those tags only header for m20 and m30.The only Hartge oil pan I see listed is for the Hartge H28 m30, H35 m30,and H35-24 m88 (s38). The H35 pan has three baffles welded in. The Hartge logo is embossed on bottom of pan.Projects Hartge,Alpina & AC Schnitzer Builds.http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=280601

Considering it looks like the paint was scraped away to weld the tag on, I don't think it is real. lolComment

It's a steel e21 M20 pan with a Hartge logo welded on :)
Good thing about the e21 pan is when you lower the car and the pan hits, it just dents rather than cracks like our annoying alloy pans.Comment

if you really study the pic, you can see the paint was crudely scrapped off, and it was tacked on in a hurry.Comment

The only Hartge oil pan offered for the e30 for was the H35 m30 and s38 motor.
