I say go with the car with hail damage. At the end of the day when it's all fixed, you'll have a car with $2000 worth of body repair and a $3000 paint job to call your own on your 120k mile early model iS.

The problem is, I live in Minnesota, E30's don't exist, or if they do, a half rusted through E30 goes for 3,000 by its self.

The hail damage car is in Missouri which is about 6 hours away from me, according to the PO it runs and drives, he sent multiple videos of the car.

The car has pretty bad hail damage, and these small god awful pinstripes, but that could easily be solved by paint or wrap down the line.
