    IE Urethane Motor mount failures...

Has anybody else here experience a failure of their IE Urethane motor mounts? Mine just sheered last night, didn't know if anybody else has had this problem, too. Going to call and see what they suggest.

Just got off the phone, IE said it happens due to the excessive exhaust heat(run the heatshield) and they are selling me a new one for cost.

That is pretty shitty. What does it mean for cost? You have to pay full price? Shoulden't this not have happened?

I've not had a problem with my IE Urethane mounts...but I've always run a heat shield. They've survived quite a few track days etc now.

Plenty of turbo guys run em, it's gotta be due to exhaust heat because they've got butt loads of torque.

Cost means their cost for them, not retail price.

IE = awesome. I had some camber plates that stripped out after just snugging them, and they sent me a new set overnight. Thumbs up for IE.
