whats this button do?? automatic 87 325

Just picked up an 87 325 4-door automatic for my dad and there is a little square button on the center console in front of the drivers side window button.

I have never owned a automatic e30 so I have never seen this button.

What does it do?

My 86 325 manual has that same button.

I thought that button was above the radio....

Has a little picture of a window with a lightening bolt going through it.
Or is that something else?

I think the one on the console stops the rear window switches from working and the one above the radio cuts power to all 4 switches from working.

alright makes sence now...

I wish it was a seat ejecto....would be cooler

The 4 doors have that button to cut off the rear windows so the kids don't fool with them.

The circuit breaker for the windows is the one above the radio on early cars.
