    Australian F1 GP

Wow I'm surprised no one talked about it so far. I'm watching it on Speed right now. From the looks of it Montoya could've gotten 2nd or so if the Renault(?) guy didnt push him off, leading to the understeer off turn 1.

The BMW cars seem to have a hard time picking up speed after a slow corner, anyone else thinks that?

Boring Race. I watched it with a Ferrari owners Club, their midlife crisis girlfriends that are half their age were much more entertaining.

if your watching it for the first time then i wont ruin for you ;) but yeah, trulli's good launch screwed montoya for the rest of the race, i think trulli jumped from like 9th to 5th.

Not really Trulli pushing him off at turn 1, but rather Montoya using the BMW power to make up for his lousy launch, overcooked it, and could not brake well enough to keep it on track. Unfortunately, I could only watch the first 10 laps since I needed to finish fitting my sideskirts........sounds like I didn't miss much though ;)

Next race is Sepang in KL, Malaysia......and I'll be taking my cab there for a track day in April :)

The new rules for the year should make for an interesting season.....I'm so glad they went back to manual launching.

Yes, now the only type of traction control can only be used at speeds over 100km/h, now we see some true drivers skill. However I have to say I almost had an orgasm at some point in lap1 or 2 when Speed got a shot of both williams side by side going sideways in a quick oversteer. I know it sucked for them but it looked awsome

love the new rules no traction control no launch and auto trans. = more driver input and cheaper for the lesser team means they can put more into hp and aero packages. gonna be a bad ass '04. for anyone interested me an some buddies are going to the US GP . driving down there. this is a heads up so if your want to have a little meet, this will be my first F1 so its gonna be fun

I am tired of the Ferraris up front the majority of the time. I want to see a good, all out race between all of the teams. I would like to experiance suspense while watching the F1 races. Hopefully race #1 will not reflect what is to come.

In my opinion, they need to do away with traction control. I know the engines produce incredible amounts of power, but without TC, the real drivers would shine.

All in all, I am looking foward to a great season.
