    Foglight switch

Hey guys.. just picked up my first E30. 90' 325i.
Anyways, I was able to get my foglights to work a couple times, turned off the car and when I tried to get them to come on again... nothing. My question is, does anyone know if the switch on the dash goes bad? The indicator on the dash wont even come on anymore. I dont have an ETM as of now and my meter is at work so I cant really check anything. Fuses "look" ok. If anyone has had anything similar i'd apreciate the input. Thanks in advance.

Hey! Congrats on the 'new' E30! Happy motoring! :D
As for the Fog Light switch, you can search around here and
find lots of info! I ve even started a thread like this,too...
MY problem is in the switch itself.I need to use it several
times to make it work...The bulb on the panel lights up after
a gentle tap on it in my car and many other...Try it! ;)

can the stock foglight switch be wired so that you dont have to have the headlights on to have the fogs on like on the e36?

Yeah, you just have to jump a relay. http://e30.bmwdiy.info/indy-fogs/index.html

Keep in mind, for those looking, that link's info doesn't work on all E30's. Mostly 89-90 cars from what I've seen.
