I've bought an 1989 325iC, 257k kms on the odo with a broken belt for almost a steal 2.5k Euro's (pic's will follow)
and yesterday I've found an 1986 325i Mtech I with 188k kms on the odo also for a couple Euro's
so I was thinking 'bout swapping the engines now the problem is my 325iC has an 3-row 173 ECU ( 8.8 CR 325i) and the Mtech I has the old style 2-row 081 ECU ( 9.7 CR euro spec 325i)
so can I plug and play the old style electrics on the C101 connector ??
Or can I just swap the head and make a 9.7 CR on an 173 ECU ? .
