I was curious if it worth spending time and trying to register my RHD Touring in CA ? I have a place out of state and it should be easy to register there but just curious about CA.
I don't think so. The only thing the state cares about is smog. As long as the car will pass smog you shouldn't have a problem registering a RHD car.
They check for the EPA sticker under the hood for an out of state car at the DMV before you can register it. Not sure if the 25 year old federal law affects that.
