The tailend of the E92 is pretty gross, but otherwise I like everything pictured.

20 years is a long fuckin' time, the cars should look significantly different after two decades that have seen some dramatic changes in the ways cars are designed and used. I know I've posted this before but look:

There is a clear progression from one car to the next, it's not as if any single design came completely out of left field. Another thing that I would like to point out is that recently BMW seems to be reacting to all the negativism toward their designs this decade by getting a little more conservative on some of the details in their designs; for example the rear end of the facelifted 7 series is less extreme and much easier to look at that the old one.

I love both of them.... and I hate you Mike. :p

Damn I want a Z4 coupe now more than ever :D

And shame on the 335i for being boosted and not having an LSD.

I think it's the other way around. I think the Z4 was meant to be a coupe first, and they cut off the top. Look at the lines of the coupe. Perfect. They all match. Like it was meant to be that way in the first place maybe??

I think the new 3 coupe is the best looking Bangle BMW. The Seven is still hideous to me and the 5 just isn't growing on me. The Z4,..I'm not a fan.

I'm curious to see the new 3 convert, I think I heard it will be a retractable hardtop.

I'm not a new car buyer, (nor Asian car buyer) but the car I think that looks pretty sweet in the 3 series peer group is the new Lexus IS 350.

i cant wait for the New M3s simply because prices on the E46 and E36 M3 will fall drastically from everyone trading them in

I'm loving the redesigned front end of the new 3er. On the other design, the hood seemed too imposing, reminded me of an e36 a little.

I do hope that BMW doesn't let their designs get any bigger than that. I'm sure it handles better than our smaller e30's, but still, I don't like this evolution of cars that are supposed to be somewhat compact getting bigger with each generation.

                  And wtf? No LSD?

the E90 is the least of all the evils but still dont like it. And its WAYYY too big for my taste. but yeah, Im not their target demographic. Enthusiasts usually arent.

Exactly what I'm waiting for. I'd like to buy an E46 M3 within the next 5 or so years.

Did you know that back in the 2002 days, only 15% of BMW's were automatics? Now it's the other way around.... WTF??

E92 has 300 lb/ft of torque too guys.

Its quite capable. I like it, can't wait to see some clean modded E92's...

Also, the Z4 Coupe you have to see to appreciate, I did, and I saw its potential shine through, looks amazing in person.
