    E39 heater blower motor

Hey BMW techs...anyone have any experience with the blower motor in an E39?

This is a '00 540i. Blows sometimes, surges, quits. Seems to be a bad motor, has voltage to the 2 pin plug behind the HVAC control panel.

Any other ideas besides motor? Voltage seems consistient.

    Thanks,
    Luke

Agree. Final stage resistor/blower motor resistor.
Pass. side, under the nav/radio near the footwell.

Pull the carpet panel out and yank it.
