Try driving a bright red BMW with M badges and a big wing on it, you get alot of unwanted attention at times.

But really, You know that if you wanted to, you could school pretty much all of those "nissan-subaru hybrids" Or honda-acura mixes. I guess some of the unwanted attention comes from the police as well. I like to think of my exterior mods as visually appealing and areodynamically beneficial, not "COME AND RACE ME cause I have some body kit pieces that dont look like snowplows" (no offense to r. stewart cause that owns all other snowplow kits! :))

I should do the sleeper effect on the old eta. When I drop the m50 in, I should take the McHenry approach, and put a 318i badge on it, or just put my 325es back on. If those "nissan-subaru hybrid" drivers even know what that means.

Well it's not just "Ricers".... I pulled up next to an Audi TT Roadster a few weeks ago, both our tops were down (mine always is) and I had my 1 year old in the car seat in the back and my wife up front. The European expat driving the Audi had his local girlfriend with him and I suppose he felt pretty cool. Anyhow he looked over at me and when the light turned green he floored it...........pretty strange since I had my baby in the car seat in the back. Anyhow I responded like a responsible father and took it easy, much to the joy of my surprised wife as she know's how I can get in those situations :)

Now when I'm in the car alone I always keep an eye out for him and his lil' Audi.....I think he would be quite surprised ;) I need to grow up

oh, no disrespect to m42 power. My sisters 318ti can kick some butt too. I was thinking more along the lines of the m10.

I ran an 02 honda civic auto with magnaflow cat-back. Guys a friend of mine and we were going for kicks. I pulled him from 0 to 85 and then after that his revs took over and I was out of the powerband. (eta torque move you, but vtech (what little it is) hp makes you go fast)so basically it was close to a 1/4 mile. maybe i should do something about that stock eta

I had it when I drove to the car-wash, at the first red lights wants an Golf mkII (with a lot of VW power decals) to take a redlight sprint and keeps his engine revving like hell, and finally lost the sprint
and also the other 3 lights and I was waiting in the lane for the carwash against my hood and that moron comes to me and said : That must be a real "EM 3" (maybe 'cause my ///M badges) and I said : No, it's a real 1.8litre 8valves engine so not a big deal :P
you must seen that face when i said that, how his smile disappeared from his silly face
