Moonroof questions...

Alright, just out of curiosity, because of my 'recent' move, I've misplaced the moonroof shade and hardware for my e30. I'm thinking of letting it go (no desire anymore for it). I have the moonroof itself, in beautiful condition, but nothing else. The questions are as follows:

1. Is the hardware/shade still available from BMW NA?
2. If not, would it be more difficult to sell just the moonroof alone?
3. Should I eBay it, or try and sell it here?

This is not a for-sale ad, I'm just trying to figure out what my options are before I decide to sell it or not. If a mod sees it necessary to move this, then feel free. Thanks all.

call your local dealer.. if they can get it BMA can usually get it too. Your local dealer might be able to tell you more about the part though.

The glass moonroofs were not supplied by BMW but instead an aftermarket company that BMW went through stateside. And no parts being available or even listed at the dealer I beleive.

You are in luck sir. Theres an e30 parts car I have my hands on that has a moon roof. The glass was busted out and there is plexiglass taped to the roof. But the shade and everything else is intact.

Well I can get everything but the glass, looks like it was just smashed out. P/O decided to tape new stuff on the roof lol.

i bet you can cut a saab 9000 moonroof cover to fit. ill buy it if the price is right. how much you want?
