Input on this guys ebay business model Advice needed(long)

Currently I sell only new/used BMW parts and some rare porshe parts under Nitro325ic1987.For over a year now I have been contemplating expanding into the selling autos on ebay because the market for BMW parts is pretty flooded.

I don't know why I haven't gotten around to it. I buy all my parts cars at auctions and complete/sellabel cars are only a few hundred dollars more.I also know of a lot of rare/unique BMW/Porshe/Mercedes for sale here in san antonio
....such 3.0 CSL's, low milage M3,m6,m5, MINT Isettas, Merc Evo, etc.So I know I would be able to sell my own cars and consignment cars. I just didn't have a way of putting it together.

Enter...ebay seller luxurydriven.........I really like how this guy layouts his auctions. His descriptions are very detailed and has LOTS of photos. He actually does his research and doesn't make very many mistakes (sans spelling) like most auto seller s on ebay.90 % of his cars get sold 1st time around....he's a high volume seller. This guy has his shit down for a 19 year old!!!
Also I have about $2000 put aside for a new digital camera and software.I currently have a Canon Powershot S30 3.3 megapixels which is more than ample for my current projects but might not hack it for high res car photos.Or am i wrong? Do I need another camera? What photo software will allow you to make 360 degree pics.Meaning I can rotate the car or look around inside....zoom in on specific parts while looking around, etc...

    Thanks for any input

A 3 mp camera is fine for detaileed photos of cars. You loose shaprpness when you compress the jpg images. As long as you keep them decently sized you won't see the artifacts and such common with highly compressed images. You might want to look at a camera with more optical zoom though. I use an Olympus c720uz which has an 8x optical zoom. I think you know which photo program is the best out there.
Just livin in the OC minus my E30

buying and selling cars is a very profitable business. I;ve been tryin to get the funds together to do it. Im fixing to buy a fully original mint one owner 1976 BMW 2002 for less then 2k. Im hoping the money i get back on resale will be quite a profit. :D

$2k is way more than required to buy a nice camera + make 360 degree photos. I have a Canon Powershot A40 which could easily match those photos in quality, for $299 new (who knows how much now used).

Having a nice hi-res (3 MP) camera does come in handy for those buyers that want nice, large, pics to evalauate car quality however. My A40 is only 2 MP.
