To be honest, I'll admit that I've thought about someday if I can, find some '84 318i, turbo it, put some kind of crazy body kit on it, paint it some goofy street racing colors, slam it and throw on some 18" wheels, and then proceed to flog it every weekend on the track.

hahahah my buddy is doing exactly that minus the crazy body kit, goofy paint color, slammage, and 18 inch rims.

it is going to be awesome.

Rice is so overly used, rice to me is your beater car with a huge wing and fart can trying to go fast. Yeah that might be ugly but i dont think they were trying to go fast, it maybe be ugly but the body work looks like a premium job.

You have to admit tho, there's has been a lot of actual work put into those cars.

I mean yea you look at it and you yell rice, but when I was in Germany, you actually get to see the amount of work these guys put into their cars, and it amazes me.

If you knew how expensive doing anything performance related to your car is, you'd understand the whole rice factor in Europe. Insurance there changes radically as the car adds up horsepower, so therefore these guys end up doing bodywork instead.

Now I'm not going to say that I'd be caught driving one of those, but when I went there I started seeing that these cars actually have time and effort put into it, something that here, all you see is a sagging bumper, car that drives like shit with a hanging fart can, etc. Now THAT's rice. The above is just creativity.

to tell you the honest truth, I doubt very highly those pics were from german "tuned" cars. german insp. proceedures are way to tough to let those mods through. prob. out of the Netherlands, or Belgium.

and knock the way th3e germans "rice" their cars, but you have to realize, that crap came from the U.S.!!!

with all thaT SAID, i THINK THOSE CARS LOOK LIKE PUKE!

I will get anyone that awesome looking grill setup if you will send me a complete set of diving boards!
