Carfax Please?

Hey there everyone. Went to take a look at a car yesterday in MA, and it certainly is a nice one! However, there was some question about the year and the make, although the owner is listing it as a 325is. However, the rear badge (which means very little if a spare one was slapped on :D) says 325. And then to add to this mystery, they were at a car show a few weekends ago and he was telling us that someone said to the owner that he had an '86, not an '87. So then at this point, this would have to be a 325e (if I am correct with years), since they didn't start making the E30 325i and 325is until '87, correct?

Anyway, I'm really interesting in buying it, but I'd like to get some facts straight about it. Could someone possibly run a carfax for me?:D

Damn. This thing looks like trouble now. The mileage change is what scares me the most, not to mention the fact that its listed as a 325/E. However, it did have the 13 Button computer and the power sunroof. Are these things easy to install to provide more of a fake IS thing? Thanks again for the report!!!

The 13 button comp and the sunroof are not too hard to install so they are most likely add ons.
