    glovebox problem

    i got a problem :( !!! the handle of the glovebox breaks every month and it costs too much, what should i do? any suggestions? any alternatives?

    do you buy new ones? where does it break?

      no not new ones, used, and they cost about $10-15
      and the handle itself breaks :( so that it can't be glued or anything :(

        how about you buy another one and when you go to open the glove box you help by pusing up on the glove box itself so it doesnt take soo much force to unlatch!!!

            buy a new one, new in box. And when you close the glovebox, slam it closed.

            Don't try to "help" the latch close by holding it open and gently closing it, that will only further complicate things. Do it the german way and slam that shit closed.

            Granted, I don't buy another one every month (I don't find that many in my junkyards, glovebox latch is usually first to go), I've had my fair share. I'm currently using one that is indeed, held together by glue, gorilla glue.

                Or your proof of insurance, or your manual?

                  i keep me stuff under the seat..dont have to get the the computer very often..It will open, it jsut is a bitch to get shut.

                    I just leave my driving gloves on the shifter. Because I don't drive the car without them, so there's no point in not leaving them out.
