Selling low mileage 1990 325i Convertible

With another car coming home, cost of insurance and storage for my 65' and some other issues, I have decided to sell my 1990 325i convertible.

I was thinking of trying Bring a Trailer to maximize value. Need advice on setting reserve and if that is he best place to post.

Car is Alpine White over Black, five speed, 30,800 miles, 3 owner, full service history, R134a a/c, most everything works, original everything.

BAT suggested a $15,650 reserve, given a similar car sold for $20k+ what do you all think.

Definitely don't put the reserve higher than that if you are motivated to sell. The guy who paid 20+ was an outlier, IMO. There are plenty of low mile convertibles to choose from. Some say people in Europe are buying them, and the Euro is strong so that will work in your favor.

That’s a great car. It’s a manual transmission right? Good luck. Bat would probably pay off for you.

Darn that looks nice... I have a plastic bumpers E30 white vert that has 70k miles and I thought it's clean. I bet this still have the new smell inside.

Apparently the "experts" can't wait to comment on my car:

"Doesn’t have late model e30 tail lights?" Of course not, verts did not get these until 1991

"Or bumpers for that matter. Methinks this is not a 1990 e30." ugggh

"Bumper surrounds should be black, these were painted white." No, convertibles were painted body color by BMW

And more so, not until 07/91 production. You’ll see 1991 models with metal bumpers and earlier tail lights. I have a 91 just like yours. [emoji6]

                              Good luck!
