Sounds good to me! Is it a manual? If so, that's a pretty rare car right there. You can have the clearcoat repaired for not much money.

fuck no. i bought an 86 325es for 50 bucks hadnt run in 2 god damn years with a broken odometer reading of 247,000 miles. and after an oil change it took 17 seconds for it to start. and that is with the engine being fed water by a water hose. these cars are tough. that mileage is nothing.....

Are these really worth that much??

Dunno - I'd pay 3 grand I guess. Maybe I've been out of the market too long.

that is slightly high, but that bitch is awd so it miht be worth it. try to talk him down to 4 grand or lower. if he wont budge go for an 89 325i or is, those never fail to please the driver and passengers.

Lowball him with cash in hand - and I mean cash. It'll drastically increase your chances. I've gotten cars for less than half the asking price just by being serious and making an offer. Worst case scenario he says no and you come up.

yeah i did the same ting. i had enough cash on me to pay for the car in whole but i said i had maybe half and then i just started bsing and eventually i got it to exactly were i want it. 50 bucks.

you can easily get him down to 4 grand witha little pizzazz and shit
