Valentine 1 Mounting Position

Hello,

I am going to be getting a valentine for my car and motorcycle. I plan on moving it from each vehicle when I drive them. That said, how is everyone mounting the detector? Mirror mount? Suction cups? If you could post a picture in this thread I would appreciate it! Is the concealed display worth it?

For the car at least, I have always used the clip to mount it to the sun visor, wedging the cigarette lighter in between the the visor and the headliner to approximately level it out. Not a particularly high tech solution I know! No idea on the bike though...

Thanks! I got the bike figured out. There is a HUD system I'm getting. Has anyone forum member tried above the mirror?

Mine is above the mirror to the drivers side, hard wired into the check panel power. Perfect spot IMO.

Are you able to remove the detector so it doesn't get stolen? What mount kit are you using? Pics?

Mine is suction cupped to the upper mirror area on the passenger side. I can remove the detector and leave the suction cup clip attached to the windshield. Wire is hardwire to the sunroof motor.
