With the 525 the best bet is to swap in another I6....V8/V12s are a pain. That said it's doable.

If you only have 5K and a 6sp your options are quite limited. I'd just do supporting mods and turbo your existing motor. Otherwise there's no other way you're going to get big power within your budget.

Ford 5L, could be done poorly for 5K
m62, 5k but not "super mega ultra fast"
