As some of yall know I wreck by car about 2 months ago and I went back to my old beater Camry. And fewer of yall know I have been looking for about a year off and on for a BMW E36. And well now everything is set. It is a BMW 325I Vert. It is a dark burgendy w/ a black top and tan interior. It is an automatic w/ the 2.5 inline 6 cylinder. It has about 123k miles. So here is a story on how I found it befor I have comments on it and also befor i get bashed on 2 parts of the car:
It started out today that my mom and step-dad went to go and look for them a saab convertable. and i got out of class at 3:30-3:45. And I called to see how the car was. And they said they wasent gonna get it but there was a BMW vert. there that they thought would be nice for me. So I was like what the hell I am 12 miles away I might as well go and look at it. B/C it might of saved me a trip this weekend to look at a coupe E36 in Louisville. So I got there and I saw the Saab they were talking about then i looked nexted to it and there was the E36 vert. I was like nice color. So I started to do my inspection of the full car. i first started the engine and the owner said it will spit out oil for about less then a tea sppon and stop. And that was the truth. Then i checked everything eles under the hood and it was real good. It was nice and clean. So then I let down the hood & I saw a girl looking at this car and I was like "here wait lil girl I might take this befor you" in my mind. So the I check out the interior compartment. it was in good shap for its age. i realizzed the cd played needed to be re-coded b/c the guy who owned this had a big stero in it (10k from what i was told) and took out the factory cd player in it. So when he put it back in and try to recode it he couldn't. b/c after the 3rd. time you got to let the dealership do it. So I was like no problem I got one from my other bmwer i will put in. Then comes the top. The top is in good shape and it dont leak but the motor isnt working on the car so you got to put the top down my hand...which really sucks. and also the part that covers up the top when it is down doesnt latch..but it stays downat 55 mph. I am diffently gonna get it fixed. Also the ac dont work. I think it is the motor in the car. then i poped the truck and it was in good shape. And the body is in real good shape. So here is the time for the bashing part. And I am gonna be the 1st. to bash the car on here about it. it has some aftermarket exhaust that sounds alright it needs to be better. And the major one it has a hood scope on it. And it looks like shit. So i am the first one to bas that part.
so we went to take it for a test drive and we got to a point to here me and my step-dad was gonna switch out drivers and here came a bg cop. I am like what the hell. He just asked if everything is ok and stuff we was like yea we are test driving it. So I got back and started to make my last around of the car and opinion on buying it and stuff. And in my mind i was gonna buy it but I had to figure out if my spending would let me buy it. So I started to could the $ it would take to by the car and get it ttt & insurance. It left me w/ a lil over a grand in the bank..which sucks now. so while I was counting my money on paper my parents came up to me and said if i didnt get it that the girl from motor city bar and grill was. So I looked at it and measured the height of the car b/c of the bog ass speed bumps at college and also at work. And it cleared so i looked at the guy and told him do you accept cash. I gave him the 3 of the 5 hundered in my pocket today and I told him i will come back on wend. to pick it up and pay him in cash for it.
