engine stalls

83 320i : when in park, my engine stalls when i rev it a bit. it also stalls when idling and i turn on the AC. any ideas?

dude i had that problem with my moms car (94 vision TSi) and after the plugs and wires the car ran fine.

What does the car sound like when it starts up? Is it a rough idle? Just had the same symptoms on a late model 320.

5 of 6 spark plugs had so spark and car wouldn't start. Spark plug and wire change and car runs fine now.

sometimes the idle fluctuates, sounds like its gasping for air. and sometimes its fine, steady at 500rpm, sometimes 600 and sometimes at 800. but let me look into the plugs and wires, sounds like a good place to start. thanks!

Either a intake leak, leaking injector, or ICV no longer working.

It can also be the TPS, make sure it 'clicks" on idle.
