Is the side trim factory without the chrome?
Is it like the 88+ or is the chrome part just blacked out?

by the taillights its a 87 and earlier. I doubt the factory had that trim besides the ///M3. Only other E30 that I know of that had the shadowline trim was the 1991 318is.

Wow, that's a new one. No really - stop...you are making me blush. Come on up from GA and I will show you why I own it. Sorry if I am to the point with Hummer crap - I get it every day...more people flip me off in that than they ever did on my street bikes, and on the steet bikes I really deserved it.

I enjoy going off road....and on road. This is for the off road. The e30 is for the summer/track/twisty vermont roads.

Why would anyone flip you off on a street bike? If you fuck up on that then you're more than likely just going to kill yourself. If you fuck up while driving that over 6000lb vehicle you're probably going to hurt someone pretty bad. Good ol momentum will destroy anyone that likes to drive a resonable vehicle.

Off-road? Going off-road in a 50k luxury vehicle sounds pretty dumb to me.

And going to the track in a $200,000 Ferrari luxury vehicle is pretty dumb, too, right?

Just shut up before you dig yourself a deeper hole. I'm not a fan of Hummers or SUV's in general, but there is no denying that the H2 is a capable off road vehicle.

If an h2, f350, 3500 etc... is ever coming at me I hope my vehicle acts like an incline and sends them rolling on their heads. Maybe I should invent a car to counteract the massive vehicles. It'll look like a ramp basically.

                        dripping with truth...

It took a couple tries for SUV's/Trucks to destroy my last car and injure me but they got the job done. If you are one of the few people who take their high end SUV offroading then good on you. If not, don't tailgate me cause my brakes are better than yours!!!

Yeah, about as off-road capable as a GMC Yukon, because that's what it is, just with a different body.

An H1 Hummer is an off-road vehicle. An H2 is an overweight, fuel-slurping pig. You can put a lift kit and big tires on anything an call it an offroad vehicle. Sticking feathers up your ass does not make you a chicken.

Well now, you weren't in New Zealand watching the filming of the H2 commercials, were you? ;) It's not an H1, no doubt, but it's damned capable.

I'll give you that. Like I said, you can make anything "function" as an off-road vehicle, but that doesn't mean you can classify it as one. An H2 is nothing more than a Yukon with a Hummer shaped body on it. The chassis and driveline are nearly identical.
