Ya, I'm surprised, too. It is cool! My bimmer is my DD after my Zuk Evil-ved into that, from being my DD for my 79 'vette i keep with original 74K km (50K miles) on it.

BTW... speaking of RTQ L8, the first pic in my post, for those who know their wheeling, is a 20 degree RTI ramp score of 1773 - ramp limited. Note where the front tire is sitting.:pimp:

Whooooh! For a second there I thought it was just another useless trailer queen show truck!! Wait- mines on a trailer cause it gets 5/mpg and top speed is 65mph(gearing), and in San Diego you gotta drive 2 hours to offroad.

The old motor was stock 1.6L 8Valve , stock tranny mated to a toyota t-case, mated to Dana 300.
Dana 44 F&R axles 5.89 spicer gears locked with Detroits.

I will save the future set up for my "BMW content in a zuk" thred I wil make when the thing is fully evil-ved.
V2.0 should give the keen eyed ones a hint...
