    help quick

i saw a nice set of wheels in the junkyard but each wheel has a tuner lug on it. How can i get them off with out the key? Am i able to buy the key from somewhere? Not sure how many splines but it looks like alot. I checked pepboys but no luck. Any help appreciated. I saw about two other people trying to get them off. thanks matt

Autozone or advance auto might have the keys....
Other than that I don't know what to say.

Drill them out. Just be careful and don't fuck up the face of the wheel itself.

americas tire company should have the socket for tuner lugs. just make sure it has the correct number of splines.

Craftsman and Snap-op both sell a reverse thread thing for taking off wheel locks/ tuner style lugs.... kind of a PITA to use but effective.

Majority of tuner lugs can be taken off with a good old 1/2" or 3/8" extension inserted into them .

THis is only true of the types with the hole in the midle though .

take applicable sized socket, and HAMMER IT ON to the tuner lug.

It will allow you to take it off.

Then once it's off, get a smaller (1/4, 3/8) extension, and stick it through the back of the socket and hammer the hammered tuner lug out of the socket you just crammed onto it.

Use a craftsman or lifetime warranty socket so when you are done, just get a new one.
