BMW's from Petit Lemans !56k beware!

Went to Petit Lemans at Road Atlanta this afternoon. Snapped these shots from BMW gathering areas. Thought you might enjoy.

Also, any of these cars belong to forum members?

The owner of the 2002 with the flames should be shot, and the rear wing on that last white E30 is HELLA GHEY.

      Cool pics, otherwise.

The white one was for sale... the guy said it made 226 at the wheels with a 2.7 stroker.... It was in DECENT shape at best, good bit of rust, and he was asking 7k for it

DECENT is being awful nice I thought.

I've got some pics I can add to this as well, I know Trevor (Don't his name on here) took some too. His dads 540i M-sport was incredible

I call BS without seeing actual dyno charts.

I hope some people got some pics of the two black e34's and that amazing silver e30.

Honestly, I don't really see that much impressive stuff there. Most of it is stock stuff with wheels or bad aero pieces. That 2002 below the flamed out 2002 is nice though. Very "factory" looking.

I mean it wasn't a show or anything. There weren't any e46's with plasma screens and 8 12"s with neons or anything if thats what you're looking for. There was some nice stuff thats not pictured, including a nice M-sport 540i, Beautiful Alpina B9, couple of nice e28 m5's, new m6 (couple of e24's too), m coupes and m roadsters and a really nice '88 m3 with an OBD-1 S52

There were some very nice cars there. I just tried to shoot mostly e30's for the forum. The 2002's I took were just a bonus.

That stuff doesn't impress me at all. What impresses me is either cleanly done restos (like the 2002 I mentioned I liked) or modified cars where the owner actually had taste and didn't go overboard. Other then the 2002, I didn't see that. The other cars you mentioned sounded nice however.

I got some decent pictures, ll post them up as soon as i have them online. INcluding one extreemly clean red e30 m3 that wasnt in the bmw corral, over at the edge of the skidpad.

Nice pics watched the race on speed but would have preferred to be there. I'm planning on attend the events at VIR this weekend.
