Having trouble figuring out how to remove bumper

Ok, so I searched on bimmerforums E30 board, as well as here, and I have no idea how to remove the front bumper cover on my 91 318is. Coming from 3 E36's where it was a simple 2 front bolts and a few 8mm bolts in the wheel wells, these E30's seem more difficult.

I'm trying to get it off so I can detail behind it as well as remove the A/C condenser. Thanks in advance, and any pics sure would help.

There are two Torx T-55 or hex (forgot what size) bolts located underneath the bumper. There are also brackets in the way back at the rear corners of the bumper, that you get at underneath the valance. I believe these have 13mm bolts. Unscrew the main bolts that bolt the bumper to the bumper shocks, and back off the rear brackets a little bit, and pull out.

Its only those two main bolts on the front. The brackets on the back corners are just sliders. Occasionally though, these things get stuck on pretty good. Its easiest to pull them straight off as opposed to one side then the other. A friend on the other side or a 5 gallon bucket in the front to hold it up works like a charm. They can be stubborn. Oh yeah, and the turn signal pig tails. :)

six bolts and turn signal harnesses

edit: well to be more technical, four screws, two bolts, two turn signal harnesses

Thanks guys! I'll give it a try tomorrow. I'm too tired from removing the rest of my A/C stuff, what a pain in the ass it is to remove the compressor when I was missing my 13mm socket. Can you say 13mm wrench FTL?
