    Manual too!
I'm partial to the C6. First time America did headlights right.

    revisiting..

man that new supra is u-g-l-y UGLY, from every angle.

there was a rich college student with a Supra Turbo at my first job, and as a 15 y/o kid getting dropped off at the dishroom I'd always linger in the parking lot to admire it.

Turns out that was as good as the Supra got.

I really enjoy these threads where everyone gets pissed off at the way new cars are designed. I’m right there with y’all. Almost every car is stupid ugly and doesn’t make any sense.

Just look at the nose of all these cars and imagine the huge PIA it would be to wash, makes a euro weave child’s play.

Haha, I know I'm an old that likes rowing my own gears.
That's why I'll probably always have something with a manual trans in my garage.

I'm all for electric vehicles, because they're just cool, and fast as hell, with no need for a transmission.

The 2JZ is a heavy boat anchor, no way they're going to stick that in a modern car. Modern turbo engines also have way broader, more useable power curves than a single turbo 2JZ that makes 900hp for about 300rpm...

roundel says both are subbed out to a manufacturer in Austria (apparently the same one that did the original z3)...so neither toyota or bmw have to take on the risk of building out a production line for such a low volume model. classic build vs buy but toyota took it like 10 steps too far....

supra in name only, imo. ugly as fuck at that. reminds me of the saabaru 9-2x 10+ years back.

    I like the new Supra...

Although no manual is a deal breaker.

If they didn't call this car a supra, there would be no big deal about it. Honestly I would rather buy a newer Tacoma than the supra; hell I would even buy the newer corolla hatchback at least you can get that in manual.
