Seeing an LC500 in person it's staggering how heavy the car is, sure it's big but it isn't big enough that it screams "4,400lbs." Somehow they've managed to make a coupe that is visibly smaller and slower than the notoriously porky Dodge Challenger weigh more!
Every American car could take a diet of at least 500 pounds in body panels alone. I guess it's NBD though because that's nothing new.

idc because i will probably not be able to own one for the next 20yrs and by then gas will probably illegal, i feel the toyobaru twins is where i'm headed in the next couple years since they should be in a pretty decent price range and obviously have a modding culture already.

on the Zupra i think it has the old supra proportions dolled up in a europeen power suit because VeemdoubleU of the 21st century builds spaceships not cars.

lol... no, I'd avoid that one - after the Z4 first edition, the lower spec cars should come with the normal vertical bars in the grille if the car shows are anything to go by - they look a lot better.

Still - I'd take the Mustang over the Supra too as Jeenyus has pointed out, with either the 5.0 or the ecoboost (I test drove both, and have to admit that as a daily, coming from 20 years of driving european cars, the ecoboost had plenty of grunt for a daily drive and the lack of V8 noise didn't bother me like it has the purists).

I would get a mustang gt PP2 over this any day for the price.

Lol you're so right. I would disagree on NO current Japanese cars looking good. The new NSX has one of the best side profiles I've ever seen. That's just my opinion though.

Does this indicate I'm aging? Or is it really that bad?

I cannot believe after 20 years, this is the best they could come up with.

No, it may not make sense from some perspectives, but it would appeal to a large number of enthusiasts while simultaneously avoiding emissions regulations.
I think this is a great idea! If only car manufactures actually cared about the enthusiast community. I'd say that BMW did at some point, but now I don't get that same impression.
