    i LOVE not having rims

    My last dd was a pain in the ass. suspension hurt, 17" rims with 40 series tires. not a comfy ride.

    btw that's the future ceo of Sunday Skateboards "driving"

    sold it on monday and got this tuesday;

    $2275. new valves, hg, t belt, water pump, struts, etc. has little spots of rust all over the place. I'll probably try to find new alp white sunroof panel, gas door, hood, and maybe fenders, while I own it. I'm not gonna pay to get it all painted though. blue heated leather, which I thought i was gonna hate, but I actually don't mind it so much.

    decent winter car I'd say. and it has the pass through, plus I have a roof rack. I'll be able to fit 3-4 people and snowboards no problem.

    and I LOVE being at stock ride height, with no rims. Dont have to watch curbs, dont have as harsh of a ride, I can hit small potholes without freaking out. The roads in buffalo suck, we have to put down a ton of salt that just eats away at the pavement. I was gonna put my rims back on, but now i'm just gonna sell em. Also, I think I'm going to put 16s on the touring instead of 17s, but maybe the concern is mostly suspension

    i have a decent set of weaves with nice sticky tires though, so I'll probably throw those on until the snow hits

    Looks like a nice car. I would have stayed with the black though. White e30's are nice too though.

      meh, I would prefer the black too. But the black one needed a hood, highbeam, fenders, and valance. The white car just has small rust spots all over, which I don't mind. also the black car had a 2.7i which wasn't too good on gas to be honest. I just wanted a stock 325i or is to daily drive in the winter. I'll probably sell it in spring and start saving for a 97 or so black 540i/6

            I went to college in Ithaca. Upstate new york does have sh*t for roads and they use salt like no-ones business. Everyone I knew had a winter beater, and garaged their nice cars because the salt would rust fender wells out of relatively young cars. Mine was an old ford escort that had rot everywhere, but navigated through the 4 months of snow with ease.

              Long live bottlecaps! For me, a 14" or 15" wheel is the ideal for an E30. I don't think the bigger wheels fit with the more upright styling. I'd love a set of Ronal LS for my car, but its a winter beater / track whore with a few minor dings I have no intention of fixing, and nothing looks worse that expensive rims on a cheap car.
