Ah gotcha.
We were mostly around Frankfurt and Freiburg as well as Lucerne in Switzerland.
Good times and the roads were flawless, like driving on a sheet of glass.
Much different than driving on the Italian highways! :)

When the touring makes it without breaking down I'll take it on a long road trip trough Switzerland and after that into the Toscana to visit the sister in law

Soon there will be a toll fee in Germany.
In Italy they charge you for every km you drive on the roads, try to stay in the potholes so you don't have to pay [emoji3577]

Probably wont be getting a car at all, seller told me that he can not meet me on Saturday, rather on sunday. But atleast he already sent me the papers per mail, still registered on his name.

I'll tell y'all what happened next week, either if i got my touring or lost some organs...

Well, forgot my login information and that this website still exists...
I got the Touring back home, restored it, painted it completly, drove it on holidays in Austria to Zell am See and Saalfelden, when i did that again the engine decided to self destruct. the intake valve on cyl. 1 quit and threw itself out.
Engine was a complete loss. Will post more info about the project and new engine soon...

The Roadtrip itself went smooth, it was shaky as hell. Driving with unbalanced winter tires in spring... Had no stereo and only did 140km/h because it was sketchy as hell.
