    carfax issue

    Im looking at a car that has a clean PA title. when I ran a carfax, it came back as total loss vehicle but then got a clean pa title 4 years later. Any thoughts?

      either a mess up at the dmv or the title was washed

          Just pass, how would you explain that to your next buyer. You will basically never get your money back

              What car is it? If it’s a clean e30 then does it really matter? If it’s been rebuilt/restored nicely then it’s never going to be insured for what it’s really worth.
              My son has the 1987 325e, 2 door, 5speed
              I daily the 1989 325i, 4 door, 5speed
