        meh

        2-door/5-speeds are desireable..

(didn't seem to indicate if it was manual or auto)

What makes it not worth 5k? I would ask that much if I were selling it.

              ix's hold their value

hes got a newer engine on it, and less then 200k on the chasis

is it will pass inspection and has a lot of extra parts, thats not such a bad deal....kbb doesnt do shit for justice

i paid $1500 for my ix, with a shitty engine, 215k+ on chasis, i just put a new motor, whole bunch of parts, pretty much rebuilt the entire car....cant wait to get it back..only a few days

He probably thinks since he put in $1200 worth of work into the car he'll get it back, and that's just not the case with these cars, at least when you're doing repairs. He'll come to the realization that his money went down the tubes soon.

                  It's not a bad car--at $3500-$4k, it's not a bad deal. But $5k is too much.
