    fenders

    are the front fenders the same on a divingboard car and the plastic bumper car?
    i think they are but i dont want to find out the hard way...

      YES .

      Only different fenders are the deeper ones for the verts and of course the M3's .

      E30 M3 / E30 325is / E34 525iT / E34 535i

                  The rocker panel is about an inch lower. I think a beam runs through there on the softtop cars (to help deal with the twist)
