    angry...

alrite, so i made the mistake of charging my phone in my car while i was in class. after class, I drove to girfriend's house, and there..my battery completed died. I then bought a new battery at pep boys. I originally had a duralast battery from autozone, and exchanged it yesterday for another one. I swapped the batteries, hopin i could return the pep boys battery. Today, the brand new fuckin duralast battery from autozone completed died (again!!) when I got home from work. Luckily i didnt return the pepboys battery, so I'm usin that one now. FUCK, is it my alternator?

    part II
so I went over to the yard to get me a alternator. seemed to be pretty fine. fan spins alot smoother than my old one. So i installed it, thought everything was chummy...then what do u kno, battery dies again the next day. I checked the wiring on the alternator, and cut open the shrink wrap on the ground wire. Theres a loose red wire, and i coudnt figure out where that wire attaches to. The ground wire also seems to hav some nasty corrosion as well. I'm gonna make another trip to the yard to get those wires. And whats the standard tension for for the alternator belt...mines tight all the way. Can anybody solve my dilemma?

    You have only two possibilities:

    1. Your alternator crapped out (Most likely)
    2. You have a major current leak/short-circuit (Less likely)

      or 3. autozone sucks

used to work there and we had batteries that shitted out all the time
go back to az and get a free battery test, to see if it holds a charge, and while your there get your alternator tested to see if that works properly (if the tester is working mind you)

If the car dies will the engine is running then it is the alternator or a bad ground. You can run a car without a battery once the car is started.
