E30 M3: Did ever came with these seats stock from Fab?

We had this german specs 1990 M3, with a horrible color changed,was red, not care well of she, mostly cheap repairs etc etc and was for sale. we were looking it for a friend.
But as soon as I saw her, noticed these old recaro style seats and seems to me be from factory.

also what the ehck is that tank in the trunk? another fuel tank reservoir?

Those are E21 Recaros, someone must have put them in aftermarket.

a german civilian who works with us on base has a 91 e30 M3 and has those seats but half in leather and half cloth. look good too.

that happens when these cars are owned by certain people who deserve to drive only a econo car and can't keep up the car in good shape.
