My motor is just about done.

I finished assembling it for the most part yesterday. I just need to bolt the flywheel and clutch assembly on it, then bolt the tranny up and lower it in.

I think the engine/tranny will be in the car next week.

I'm hung up on the flywheel right now, as it wont be ready until monday-tuesday of next week. Its getting excess weight removed :)

    here are a couple pics

Sadly, they are clean. As clean as they can be unless I bead blasted them or something. But then i would have to take them apart.. not worth while.

I could.... but the P/S pump isnt seen once in the car, and the alternator... will likely be replaced with a shinny new one anyways later on.

              Looks great, Jordan.

Living in Corvallis (from experience) you're going to have to clean your engine bay like once a week to keep it looking that good. :D

Bah, I need to clean my engine one day... and degrease the whole underside of my car :P

Seeing clean pics makes me feel bad.

Why didn't you paint the exhaust manifolds? Is this the same head that you were very unhappy with and did you have anything else done to fix what was wrong?

Looks great though. Gotta admire your aspiration for cleanliness - gonna hurt to see it dirty after a couple weeks of driving, I'm sure.
