Haven't done that yet, it's expensive, this costs $1.25 for the bottle of "The Works" and i got about 6 explosions from it.

we did the works thing when i was still in high school. what i could remember from it, it was loud. If you want to play with something loud and fun build a potato gun:nice: .

we had this down to a science in H.S.
insted of h2o use rubbing alcohol, same reaction, but will not freeze around the dry ice for better pressure and faster but consistant explosion times.
you want LOUD...oxy/acetaline (sp) bombs....make a flame with just enough oxy not to make black snow, tap out flame, fill sandwich size ziploc bag with said mixture, zip, place in paper lunch sack or similar size made out of paper, twist top, light on fire, RUN, BOOM!!!!!! sounds like the world is going to end!

that happened to my friend in HS when we were experimenting with making them. we were video taping it with a 2 liter bottle, it wouldn't go off for a while so my friend rob walked up to shake it and as soon as he put his hand on it...it exploded! blew his thumb back onto his wrist, tearing the skin and muscle between his thumb and pointy finger as it blew it back. 60+ stiches and a cast to keep him from moving it while it healed.....
we even taped him being fixed/stitched up at the hospital! fun times!
