Best driving songs?

I've been an AFI fan since I was 15 years old, and I've seen them 7 times. They're one of my all-time favorites, and you can say what you want, but I LOVE their new album. I'm still very partial to the earliest stuff, but I get a kick of out watching them evolve their sound on every album. Not everything has to be "get stomped in the pit" metal.

Yeah, their new album is certainly not as hard as some of their older stuff; it's more dramatic. I still like it though. I have been listening to AFI for a long time and I'm not going to give up now.

Anyway, I like this tread. We should keep it going so....

"The Killers - When You Were Young" is another good driving song. It has quick, high energy segments which always make me want to drive faster, but still has some slower transitions to build upon. Pitchforkmediashit all over this track, but fuck those guys. Sometimes they're just way off.

no, im kind of over NPR. its called KTLK where i live in gods country but it has sean hannity,rush,dan connery and assorted other hardcore conservatives. i will listen to NPR when "the cigar show" is on. wtf? a radio show about cigars?

God damn, that's a great fucking list. You and I have very similar tastes in music. Your selections from the new Atreyu disc are good, but every song on that album is a good driving song. :D
