HELP engine removal question

working on an 87 325e, taking out the eta and puting in a 2.5. We are mid-pull right now, all the bolts are out of the bellhousing, the engine can move around, rotate, wiggle, all that but something is holding it to the tranny still. Am i forgetting something? i've got about a 3/4in gap between enging and tranny but it just wont go any further, any quick help will be appreciated we are trying to make this swap happen in the next few hours.
