    Trade my e30 for a 97 civic?

Not the touring. I have a 90 325is coupe, alp white with blue heated interior (sport seats) in nice shape. the cars got a bit of rust on the bottom of the doors and the fenders, but it's got a cyl head w/new valves, headgasket, t-belt, water pump, accessory belts, etc. 270k kilometers, I dont know what that converts to into miles.

I have a few people interested in it, I dont know what a fair price would be. $3k? $3500?

I will have some cash laying around from selling my r6 so I could scoop the civic if i decide, and just sell my e30 whenever

my buddy has a 97 civic dx. 99-00 front end conversion with new oem headlights and 99-00 taillights. d16y8 single cam vtec swap. 5 sp. no accidents. fresh NSX Kaiser Silver done by a good local guy. civic si wheels. apexi exhaust with a stealth es oval muffler. comes with integra rate ground controls not yet isntalled. prelude seats. (everything is black cloth).

its newer, less miles, better gas milage. but no power anything, front wheel drive, etc.

i think it's necessary to say at this point that i will still have my 88 325it touring wich will come out in spring with a 2.7 stroker, and i have a 72 datsun 240z, and an '06 ninja. just trying to say i still have a lot of "fun" vehicles

also what do you guys think my 325is is worth?

i dont know man, that civic is very clean, but it just seems a bit boring.

It makes sense logically. I would just get bored of such a car.

what are you thinking?? its a civic!!!

i had a buddy want to trade his civic to me, pretty much the same as that car, dohc integra swap and everything

the body is made of paper, always squeaks those cars do

but it is clean, and if you still have a lot of fun cars then hey why not? you would get a great grocery getter

that bimmer looks solid plus its an 325is, one of the bestt out there

i donno to each their own but how well does that motor run on that civic? is it a japan motor or us? if its from japan have fun trying to get emissions done on it

i dont think people bother importing d16y8s, its just the single cam vtec motor that came in civic ex's from 96-00.

30-35mpg would be nice. no leather and no power windows and doors wouldnt be. but i'd get an alarm hence power locks, and prob swapt o power windows.

then i could slam it and put some better wheels on it and sell it for 5k in spring lol

Meh. Cloth is nice, not having to worry about power window glitches, even nicer.

Jump on it. Makes logical sense to me. Like you said, you've got plenty of toys.

Does it even get hot in the summer in Buffalo? I see AC, and if it worked I'd probably trade (and put power steering in). Looks to be a clean DD with good gas milage, but it would have to be comfortable to DD.

You can't go wrong with either car. Performance parts are also cheap for the Civic and everything is made for it...if you decide to ever do anything with it.

Go for it dude, you can always flip the civic for another E30 when the time comes. I'm sure you know they hold their value quite well.
