Nachtblau-metallic. E36 color. Very, very dark blue. Almost black.

I was at the paint supply store today so I thought I would ask about paint. For a gallon of the sparkling graphite [PPG of course] plus the clearcoat is roughly $750. Just thought I would share for those who might have been curious.

Along those lines, I’d weed out darker colors and focus on lighter shades of silver/gray.

that convert. looks to be carbonschwarz.
my old touring that i had, i painted it carbon schwarz. saw it on a e39 M5, and fell in love with it for a dark color, it has just the right amount of blue.


as far as silvers go, my M3 is going to be painted this winter (90% sure) in
a new 6er color its called mineralsilber- looks incredible in person.

I am still heavily leaning towards Sparkling Graphite but would like more suggestions on BMW silver/gray types of colors. I have decided I want a BMW color and I do want it to be in the silver/gray family. Also, I want something original [not a color that originally came on an E30.]
