    Scorpion exhaust arrived today!

Well, FedEx finally made me a happy camper amidst my getting over a respiratory infection. I recieved my Scorpion catback from Bavarian Autosport and can't wait to put it on :D Here are a few pics of the setup. I chose the "boxer" style tip over the twin outlets for the reason that I wanted to stand out in a sea of twin-outlet exhausts. Install on March 28th. More info is on my site.

Well, including the mounting hardware ($27) and shipping, it was about $550. As for the sound clip, I'd love to but don't know how to load sound onto the computer. If you know, please let me know!

Thanks for the well wishes. I am feeling better overall, though I spilled my guts (literally) this morning, lol. (hence, why I'm up so early) I must admit I was wondering if I could tuck enough of the tip under my rear valance without it sticking out. I should be able to. I'll work on getting a few clips on sound inside, outside, idle, accelerating, the whole 9 in April when it breaks in.

No its not, actually. I have one, but I bought it with the twin tips. Personally, I dont like it. It sounds pretty good, no complaints there. But if you have a dive-board car, then it looks like a big, nasty, clunky piece of junk hanging from the back of your car. It does on mine. Its big and honky. MUCH lighter than the stock exhaust though. And you might as well paint it black, because it gets dirty faster than a fat girl gets out in dodgeball. I've got an 86 535i now, though. So I dont drive it. It screams above 5k. Give a few hundred miles to open up.

I agree somewhat. IF you don't have rear skirts to hide the bulk of the exhaust canister, then it can look a little out of place. I have diving boads on my 88, but also rear skirts to hide the exhaust.. I don't think it's a problem of the diving boards as it is the rear skirts.
