    ^^

There you go. Probably a little cheaper than good euro bumpers, plus you end up with a marginally lighter chassis for your swap.

According to the BMW Buyers Guide by Fred Larimer (lots of errors, but not a terrible book), the manual 325e/es to '87 weighs 2654lbs, whereas the '87 to '91 325i/is weighs 2813lbs.

I dunno who's counting, but my 335i is ~200lbs lighter than an E30 M3, has 18hp more than the Euro model, and 62 more ft/lbs of torque... Gooooood times :)

I think the late model tails a doofy. I liked the facelift bumpers and such so I did a swap, and have the best of both worlds!

if you replaced all that stuff on your car, it would all be new. as opposed to buying a different 15 year old car from someone else, and having to replace that stuff down the line. you have 5k, thats enough to get a lot done

buy a Bentley manual, it makes doing a lot of that stuff pretty easy

OK well let me just state that I don't want this chassis. It's just been a beater and I'm not interested in keeping it, so modding my current car is out of the question. It needs a respray, seats need to be recovered, the back seat needs to be replaced altogether because the foam is like a porcupine with all the fiberglass strands or whatever they are poking out, the front end experienced a fender bender and is kinda twisted, I would have to pay to get the engine installed because I do not have the time nor skills to swap them myself, there are all sorts of electrical gremlins popping up (most likely due to the early motronic/electronics from 85), the transmission would need to go, the diff would need to go, the A/C needs to be replaced...basically the car is fucked and all it serves me is a method of transporting myself from A to B without having to use a skateboard. The only way this car's slate would be clean were if I were to do what Jordan did, and I do not have the resources or experience to tackle such a task. But 'twould be oh so R3V if I tried, yes? Nah, thanks but no thanks to that. I'll just keep my eyes peeled for a late model. Thanks for the suggestions.
